We really fancied a steak lunch just before our journey to the airport for our flight back to the UK and this place really did itself proud. We ordered the T bone steak to share, the water brought the uncooked meat to our table before it was cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect. Served with a bowl of chips (crisps) and we also had a side of buttered spinach and calabrese. I don't think I've ever had such... View all feedback.
What Κωνσταντίνα Ηρακλέους doesn't like about Macellaio Rc:
I asked to receive the best meat they have. I ordered “costata” and “fiorentina” for me and my friends. I lived in Tuscany and I know what I mean. We received thin pieces of meet and few beans and salads. In addition, several wines in the wine lists were unavailable and service was poor ... this restaurant belongs to the category “first the location and then the food”... not the right approach. I was here for lunch Saturday 7 September 2019. I must admit that I was favourably impressed by the restaurant itself and by the relevant employees. They were caring but not intrusive at all. I noticed that the restaurant is very well managed and that the quality of food is great. As Italian living in Milan, I generally avoid restaurant in the city centre; yet I decided to give this restaurant a try and it was a wonderful surprise. The meat was amazing, very soft and tasty, and so was the pasta taken by my sister. We took also desserts. I suggest asking for Bianco with basil : . What else? Value for money is excellent. This is a place you should definitely go to when you are in Milan.
We visited the nearby art museum at Pinoteca Brera and walked by this place on the way in. They display their aged beef and it looked awesome. It was! Wow, we split a 600 gram rib steak and it was one of the best we have had ever. A nice salad and wonderful pesto pasta topped off with Montpulciano wine was perfect afternoon. Stop in for lunch or dinner and you won’t regret!
Questo ristorante è stata davvero una sorpresa. L'ambiente è molto bello e confortevole. La scelta di piatti equilibrata e completa. La carne in particolar modo è squisita. : hanno aderito alla raccolta fondi per gli sfollati del crollo del ponte morandi
100 e lode!! Tutto perfetto a partire dall'accoglienza al antipasto, secondo ne dolce... !! La Fiorentina era PARADISIACA sentivi ogni nota di gusto.. !! Il dolce era strepitoso e fresco!.. prezzo elevato ma merita !!!! Consigliato
Veramente soddisfatto della carne , frollata cotta e presentata come nel più godurioso dei miei sogni .... ho pagato profumatamente una costata alla fiorentina da 1.250 grammi 97 euro... ma nella toilette, dopo essermi lavato le mani ... c'era la crema lenitiva e profumata per la pelle .... questa ha ridotto il mio disagio
