Restaurantes Los Almendros Polanco

When we came years ago, this was wonderful. Yesterday, we arrived an hour before closing. At first, we were ignored; then it was rush, rush, rush because the kitchen was closing. The servers were obviously very stressed out, so service erratic, not a pleasant...experience. And, most disappointing was the dish I went there to eat the Camerones al Coco, a signature (and expensive) dish. The sauces and mangos still added the wonderful flavor, but the shrimp and coconut were overcooked. And, by then, the few servers who were left were so over-stressed I knew I could not send it back. And, they ran out of wine; my business partner got the last glass. Very disappointing experience.

Los Almendros really maintain the quality and traditional food from Yucatán. Everything we had was great! Portions were very vast and prices very affordable. Service outstanding! We will keep on having this restaurant as one of our favorite family choices.

We haven't been to Los Almendros in a long time. Last August we went for a special family occasion an found it delightful. We went on a Saturday when they have a buffet breakfast. With a wide selection of different delicious and well balanced dishes...it is more than affordable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. I regretted not having gone in so long and fully recommend this place.

Este lugar aunque un poco caro es un hermoso lugar con deliciosa comida y con muy buena atención y lo mejor de todo es que tienen una area de juegos para niños muy grande con niñera, asi que mientras uno disfruta con su pareja o acompañantes los niños se divierten en un lugar completamente aislado (por lo que no oyes gritos) y de forma segura.
