Good food! Fast friendly service! Unlimited chips and salsa! I have been coming here at least once per month for over 25 years and have never had a bad meal, I've tried about everything on the menu it's all good but but now always order the dinner special; no matter what time of day it is my wife always orders the lunch special. What Tamia Kunze doesn't like about Su Casa Mexican:
Just go to Taco Bell....Bleh!. This place had decent reviews....but not sure why anyone would go here by choice. First the salsa and chips came out. The salsa tasted like spicy pizza sauce. Then I ordered queso...looked like like regurgitated green baby food. How do you even mess up queso? Its heated up cheese!!!! Then came a simple taco, rice, and beans. I've been going to Su Casa for 20 years. Yes, it's not the best authentic Mexican around, but they are consistent, except for their salsa. What keeps me running: it is cost-effective, fast service, (they know me with name and have my drink before I sit) and they stay with their menu. They occasionally have good fish. A friend calls them white men Mexican, so don't go with huge expectations. It's simple, tasteful and fast.
It's Su Delicious! Americans? Maybe. But it's the best tasting Mexican cuisine I've ever had in Salt Lake. The other guy I call Mexican Grille, and I can't even eat this stuff at Lone Star. I suggest the next time you're looking for Mexican food call Su Casa. Order the cheese enchilada chili verde style with fried beans and rice. In 5 minutes you can have a large container of food, plus some chips and diving, for about 8 dollars. Eat it before you come home if you don't feel like sharing.
Veggie Burrito. I'm going to Su Casa for the vegetarian burrito. It's amazing.
Wonderful food, always great quality and customer service. Never takes longer than 10 minutes to get your food...
