I am always impressed by Basil Thai Bistro, as they consistently go above and beyond with each dish. The service is top-notch and the food is always fresh and arrives hot. While they may be the only Thai restaurant in the area and charge a bit more than other places in larger cities like Michigan, the quality of the food and service is well worth it. Even though they are moving to downtown Midland, I will make the ex... View all feedback.
What John Adams doesn't like about Basil Thai Bistro:
Ordered two days in a row; disappointed both times mostly due to price. We ordered basil fried rice the first day and Pad Thai the second day. Both days the chicken was very overcooked/dry. The flavor for the fried rice was good, but it lacked the amount of basil leaves that I was used to from different Thai restaurants. The Pad Thai's chicken was also very over-done and my wife's Pad Thai was very, very bland and la... View all feedback.
Just a complaining last on the list found why 4 out of 5 of 5 I was looking for a good place to beef pho and drunken noodle since I moved into the opposite. Food:Thai basil bistro was exactly that I was looking for until drunken noodle. the pho was good, but I didn't care about the meatballs, even not with jalapeños, if they also like some of them in their pho. Service:So at 2 o'clock called for a take-out order and was said it would be almost an hour and half wait for pick-up, was totally worth the wait. worth and expect: my only complaining about my experience was that I was feeding the sampler tray that should come with fresh rolls, but when I arrived to get my order, there was a sign that they did not know in my order to make my order Unfortunately, I have already included nothing instead of or more of the other articles. we have 2 Thai chicken wings, 2 spring rolls and 2 crabs. (built 3 to 4 for 20.75 my order served 2.) otherwise it would be 5 stars.
Our favorite dining price since its opening. we live in saginaw and do not travel for these delicious meals. the portion size is perfect and we always end up with a little bit until later. after literally dozens of meals we have nothing positive to say!
Thai food. I love Thai food, and this place was recommended by friends. I have looked through their website when we waited for our eating, and what I love about them is that they are family owners (yes! local and they have been here for about 35 years! they had at least two of my favourite dishes, which I ordered from other Thai restaurants! the other thing I love about this place is that they actually use fresh Thai paprika for seasoning instead of the dried (I prefer the fresh, I think there is the dish more taste on this wise.) a word of intention: if they think that whiter pfeffer is too spicy, they might want to stuff something that is not hoter than medium.... so far they want to order hotter than medium. for me was right between medium and hot!
Sam was very attentive she did a great job! Food was good!
I’m totally addicted to the vegetable drunken noodles, fresh roll, the chicken rice soup that comes with lunch, and the crab rangoon.
