Have visited this hotel numerous times during the past several months for occasional dining.I have found the staff to be consistently well-presented and attentive, the environment relaxing and the food above average in terms of quality and quantity.The prices also are more than reasonable - keep up the good work ! ! Very disappointing. No front of house manager to welcome us, and when we selected a table fir ourselves a grumpy staff member ushered us away, saying "see the girls down the front "! I said, my husband needs to sit down , he is unable to stand, but she shunted us off to a queue of people ordering. Very disappointing! I thought honestly, they had bought me a child's meal wrongly, the serviettes were so small that there was no big edifier. Beyond that, eating was just terrible, and much beyond price for what it was. never again!

What an amazing place to dive. beautiful staff and good food. service is exceptional. well done.

Met friends for dinner on a Tuesday evening.. what was seafood at night. my expectations were far exceeded. my partner and I ordered the fish on the special menu.mine crawled his grill. we received 2 generous portions of beautiful fish with delicious chips. the salate and the veg bar were simple, but plentiful. we will certainly return when we are back south

The tavern is okay for a cheap simple meal, but nothing excellent. it doesn't pretend to be a little more than a country-eating tape, so I think that's okay. eating was good and tasty, and the atmosphere was a little basic.

Had tea there twice in the last week. Meals and salad bar were really good. The only thing that spoiled the night was the natzi lady they seem to have in charge. So rude, didn't smile and felt she was watching us the whole night. We spent over $100 there not sure what more she wanted but made us really feel uncomfortable. Customer Service with a smile would be nice. The bar staff were super friendly and smiling.
