Contribute FeedbackUmi is a must-visit for those craving Japanese cuisine. While the delivery menu may be limited, the food is consistently tasty. The vegan options, though sometimes with a minor hitch, are well-appreciated. The service is quick and attentive with helpful staff offering delicious recommendations. The Tonkotsu ramen may not be for everyone, but the rest of the menu shines with flavorful dishes like tofu katsu curry and veg gyozas. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or trying Japanese cuisine for the first time, Umi is a delightful dining experience worth revisiting.
Nice vegan options to try here! Lunch menu only £19 containing an appetizer, starter, main and a drink We had edemmame, gyoza, inari bags, and two nets
If I had fallen into a tub of Katsu Curry in a dream, I would wake up to a happy day. I spent the second half of every visit here turning my bowl around and looking for the best last smiling curry. This is a beautiful place that they do vegans well and are a beautiful couple with a friendly team of waiting staff. If you ever have this other dream that your pillow turned into a tofu pillow case filled with boiled rice well they have, toofu inari. Updated by previous review on 2020 01 16
Quite a lot of vegan options, you need to specify vegan, although some are made differently with egg/milk. Small and cozy
Great place to eat and staff are very helpful when you explain what is vegan.
The food was amazing with such a depth of flavour. Cosy restaurant with limited seating, but you don’t feel cramped or rushed. A few vegan options and a few of the vegetarian meals can be made vegan. The pumpkin curry in particular was perfect.
