This is a fantastic spot for a pint and a great meal. I highly recommend trying the lasagne and the house-made chips are to die for. Don't forget to save room for their delicious crumble as well. View all feedback.
What Thomas Ward doesn't like about The Six Bells:
The beer is expensive and was flat, the bartender was playing videos on her phone at a high volume. It changes hands often and I have not ever had a pleasant experience! I would stay away. View all feedback.
I called a pint. sa in the garden. a lot. what more could you want?
Under new ownership so feeling their feet. Friendly atmosphere, food looked enriching but found veg not cooked enough for me.
Called in for a pint... Sat in the garden... Plenty of shade... What more could you want
Great place for pint, great meal, I recommend Lasagne, home made chips to die for .... Crumble is yummy also
We visited the Six Bells for lunch after our walk where we were well received and the service was good throughout our visit. The pub itself is a charming village pub with oak beams, a choice of various types of seating and subtle piped music in the background. There was a good choice of traditional pub food on the menu although there were limited quantities of some dishes and bread options. Twelve hungry and thirsty walkers enjoyed a variety of different meals and drinks. We recommend the Six Bells and encourage you to visit. Us walkers look forward to returning in the not too distant future.
