Cafe Siefert - Michelstadt

If you find yourself in the charming little town of Michelstadt in Germany, don't pass up the Cafe Siefert. It is located just a few steps away from the famous Rathaus. The owner is a world famous master baker/confectioner, winning a world title in 1997....Everything in the shop is made on location. Beautiful chocolates, cakes, elegant pastries, gifts, etc. The Irish coffee was great too. The German cakes are not nearly as sweet as American cakes, so you might order an extra dollop of whipped cream. The prices as slightly higher than the average cafe, but well worth it.

We went into this caffe with the expectation that the king of baked would offer us a wonderful moment to remember how we really looked forward to a good cup coffee with delicious baked goods. - but the bake was nothing special, and the lukewarm...coffeee was really tasteless, so our experience left much to wish. back to home, we quickly prepared a decent coffee!

Can not stay if you like sweets, you have to come in and get one of the great looking cake! cozy in the inner, quiet, nice music. there are also tables outside for good weather.

Beautiful afternoon sitting outside, watching the world, over, beautiful location, near townhall. good coffee pastries and cakes. delicious ice cream.

An award winning bakery, this will tempt anyone who enters with its beautifully crafted pastries. The pastries are lovely to look at but were not as tasty as I anticipated. There are a handful of tables where you can sit and enjoy your pastry and...coffee. A pleasant way to spend an hour. I was a little disappointed in the service. Not as friendly as I expected.
