2018 we csme thru town to eat at the Ku Ku, but it was closed. And seemed to be closed everytime we came to Miami, OK. Today was the day where we waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru line. It's long due to every order is cooked to order. It was well worth it. Nothing super special if you're looking for something fancy It's a burger. Will definitely go back again. Waylan was on the grill and it'll be 50 years simmer 2023.
What Chris Davis doesn't like about Waylans Kuku:
Food took forever, inside closed, food was just ok, nothing to write home about. Not sure what happened but McDonald's is better Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Hamburger, Fries View all feedback.
We only got the hand-made cherry limeade, but it was the best drink I've had in a very long time. I would definitely recommend this place.Food: 5/5
I'll start by saying our burger was very good. The issue is the dining room is closed, and seems to have been since the COVID shutdown, and the dive-in line was pretty slow. It probably took 15-20 minutes to get our order and we were just one car back in the order line. Still we will probably go back just for the Route 66 nostalgia factor and the fact the burger was very good.
Today was my first time trying this place. I let a woman cut in front of me in the drive thru line, and she ended up paying for my entire order. I was so surprised and touched, I made sure to pay it forward to the vehicle behind me too. Great people, great food. The fried green tomatoes were to die for. 10/10, will definitely be back.
They have the best burgers around by far. The food is always hot and fresh. Not to long of a wait and the food is worth it. Ice cream and hot dogs are on the menu as well. Seating outside for those nice days. If you are passing through definitely stop oy and try their food. You won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
The service was excellent and the food was good, but the dining room wasn't open. Considering this place is on Route 66 and targeting those tourists, they need to open the dining room so people can take a break and get out of their cars for a while. And some people like to wash their hands before they eat.... you can't do that if you can't get in the building.
