This restaurant has a great atmosphere, perfect for sitting outdoors in the summer with fans and sunshades. The croquettes were not what I expected, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience. View all feedback.
What Tony Starks dislikes about Vegan Cuban Cuisine:
I just called to report a food safety issue because my food was completely raw. I contacted the restaurant directly, but after being on hold for 20 minutes, they offered no solution. I’m definitely done with this restaurant. I've also seen other reviews from customers commenting on the terrible service. View all feedback.
I just wanna live here, inside this restaurant Everything was so amazing, I could just cry. There wasn't a single thing that was unimpressive. I was hyped for the papa relleno cuz I haven't had one since I was a child. Wish it had just a little more filling but it was food. Also got the churrasco and the Cuban sandwich. So freaking good. The soup with the meat tasted just like my grandmother used to make. Also got the empanada trio and those were so perfect. Also got an iced matcha and that was also delicious. I live like 6 states away so I probably will never get to go here again but I'll think about this place for the rest of my life
I’m all for reclaiming parking spaces for people, and Vegan Cuban Cuisine has done just that! As the indoor dining space is in the works, the only seating is outside in what would otherwise be a parking spot. Reclamation details include astro-turf to cover ugly asphalt and overhead covering from the sun; all in all, the ambience was quite cozy. Ham croquetas were the appetizer followed by Cuban sandwiches. The croquetas were tasty, though I would have liked the outside to have a bit more crunch. The garlic-cilantro sauce, which I think was the sauce accompanying the croquetas, was delicious. The sandwich bread was a bit dry and flaky, but the jackfruit meat was flavorful and tasty. Service was polite and friendly and especially fast, considering the staff was small in number and was running back and forth from the kitchen to the seating area. Very pleased to have stopped by while visiting Miami.
When we arrived the restaurant was under renovation so there were some wonderful outside tables that we could use, and I am so happy we experienced their food. First, everything is electronic and easy to use. They offered help, but the process was very easy to use. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. English or Spanish spoken by friendly staff too. I can only tell you the food is awesome and wholesome and we plan to return. It is also geared for take out and their utensils were made of biodegradable wood. Come and try this little gem.
Cuban food is a cuisine I’ve always wanted to try but couldn’t because it’s so meat heavy. Well look no further! This cute little restaurant has a full Cuban menu veganized! I greatly enjoyed it and you will too!
Honestly, this is probably the best Cuban food I’ve ever had AND the best vegan food. I had the imperial rice and a steak side with tiramisu as dessert. Friggin delicious. Highly recommend. Go there!!!
