Arepas Sand Wish - Miami Beach

This guy is very unsuccessful at customer service and took too much enjoyment out of my disappointment, but I do love the drink that the other person had customized a simple chargeable request for me a day before.

It was delicious. I got the passion fruit juice, a chicken enchilada and yuka fries. My mom got an arepa and it was very very good. I probably won’t come back again because I live in Iowa but if I come back to Miami , I definitely will :

Was craving some Venezuelan food. Was closed sunday at 9 am, and it's listed as open. Looks good, but we will never know.....

I cannot express how delicious the fried shrimp arepas are here. We ordered veggie, bean, and shrimp, but the shrimp outshined them all. This truly is the re-imagining of southern shrimp and cheese grits made into an amazing sandwich where the grits have been transformed into bread and it’s smothered in the most delicious cheese you can imagine.Don’t miss this if you are in the area and you need a quick bite to eat.

I was really excited to try this place as someone who enjoys arepas. The staff was really kind and friendly. The food was not great. It was excessively oily/buttery with little flavor in the meat. The beans and plantain were okay but was not a cohesive dish.
