really good and cheap. all homemade and nice service. the place is simple, but not dirty, as some reviews say: if you are a hipster looking for the pretty look cool place, then go somewhere else. View all feedback.
This is more of a lunchtime than an evening meal (it closes around 18 o'clock.) I had lunch here on 10 Jan 2016 at 15 o'clock, and almost everyone was occupied. the menu is simple (although the way it is written on the menu card, quite confusing me one because to find out what the concept was): they get brot, an salad, a suppe, two main dishes, dessert and a drink as meal. the menu card changes weekly on Sunday (the menu card said at 10th januar 2016 the price is either $65, $75, or $85 is pesos here, not usd.) the drink was watermelon juice that was freshly made and very refreshing. probably too sweet for many, but perfect for me. there were five different salads for choice: greens and fruit soalat 65,) caesar salat and apfelsalat 75,) and roquefort salat 85.) they choose between a hot suppe (some kind of sweet soup, not sure what it was just said germinate or sprout and a cold suppe (pfirsich.) I had the caesar both were good not stellar, but good. there are four net parts of which they choose two. these weeks were stuffed, garnel (not sure whether they are actually garnel or not a potato paste (like a kind of minze patty,) and Swiss enchiladas. I had the paste and the echiladas. the net parts are served without extras or side (although the enchiladas sauce had.) the pastete was very good, and the enchiladas (they get two) were great. the dessert was meaningless: two thin slices of pineapple in a kind of syrup water. Very good. all the individual dishes were very small, but as they get four dishes plus bread, it was a decent meal. the nets were by far the best of baptism. the spatialities are not huge and a bit crampy, but clean. there was only one woman who served a complete restaurant, so the service was naturally not stellarbut it was also not bad. she was nice and efficient. for the price were both food and service above average (except dessert.) warning: not a very tourist place (I was the only non-Mexicans in there,) and if they are not quite confident in their spanish, they can have some hardships. none of the staff I saw seemed to know English. updated by previous review on Sunday 10. january 2016
I went on a Saturday afternoon in July 2014. The current meal of the day costs 70 pesos. You get a choice of salad, choice of soup, choice of 2 of the 4 entrees from that day drink, desert bread. A very filling meal, and creative cuisine... No beans rice on the plate, which is nice. Nearest Metro station is Chilpanzingo.
