Of all the restaurants in BGC, I was in Tapa King. Great place for a quick and relatively cheap brunch. Had her fried liempo today. Its fried, well tender meat with crispy skin.
Good service in this branch too. They packed my to-go box neatly and my order arrived faster than I expected. View all feedback.
What Yolanda Rath doesn't like about Tapa King:
FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 2/5 AMBIANCE: 3/5 Tapa King is one of the establishments that offers cheap Filipino foods but not sacrificing its quality. Now they are serving Royal meals which includes 3 breakfast dishes. We ordered their Royal Meal A which includes their signature tapa, danggit and tocino. Their tocino by the way is very good while the danggit is ok since there are limited restos who offers danggit, you can say... View all feedback.
Eating here, but it was incomplete. also the atchara is very dry. eating is not worth the price, especially with screwing like this.
I always order from their “Everyday Lutong Bahay”. I order via FoodPanda. Food is good but they tend to forget to include the alamang/bagoong for the Kare-Kare. I have to call them and wait for another few minutes for the delivery. Kare-kare w/o alamang is like eating your pasta without the sauce. So guys, please always make sure to include the alamang when packing your Kare-kare so that everybody will be happy. Thank you
Grabbed a tapa king meal this morning since I was running late. When I opened it I was grossly disappointed with the serving, because the portion was simply ridiculously small, like a size I see my small niece is eating, not fit for an adult and definitely not for a hungry one . The good thing was, it was good especially the vinegar that came with it, it totally complemented the slivers of beef that was well marinated. It's good to eat the beef without the vinegar but it's best to eat it with the vinegar on top of that, they've done the egg beautifully, yay!
Eating is great. a little expensive, I must say, compared to other joints with similar menu. the prizes were always so, so I don't complain. an important thing: sobrang dulas ng floor nyo. it seems like a greasy mop used to clean the floor. it's very dangerous. every time I walk in, it's always going super slowly. Apart from that, everything is in order.
I come almost every day because of coffee roast, but it doesn't take much to bind on their delicious garlic rice all the time. my favorites are their sündenband na baboy, tinapang bangus, and liempo the personal here is very friendly and polite.
