I came wanting a burger, but I got the Tuesday special-meatballs and spaghetti. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. I'll be back to try the po-boys and burgers. Yeah, there's only 2 parking spots, but plenty of places to park. Very friendly service. View all feedback.
What S B doesn't like about Po-boy King:
Read these reviews and had to give it a try. First, it is absolutely filthy, and the two guys working look like greasy-tatted homeless people.Ordered a shrimp and oyster po'boy dressed, LIGHT MAYO.Both sandwiches came out with so much mayo that they were inedible, it was coming out the sides, and there were mustard stains on the bread like the cook used the same knife to spread both mayo and mustard. They do not use L... Typical Metry poboy place. Good food and friendly staff. The place could use a good cleaning, if just the fan by the door, would be an improvementFood: 5/5
This is a very old and very hole in he wall type place. But I had an oyster po-boy and it was Devine! In stead of fries, I had a side is fried okra. It was just as delish. It 's located at Homestead and Veterans and may take you a bit to search, but worth every bite!
Great sandwich but dirtiest place I've ever eaten in. Clean that fridge at least.Jeez.
This was my first time getting anything from Po-Boy King. Currently, I am stuck at home due to injuries so I decided to order their seafood gumbo, with rice and potato salad. I also added a Barq's Root Beer. I set up the delivery for 35-45 minutes. The driver was at my house in less than 10 minutes,. There was no rice and they put mostly the gumbo juice with very little seafood in the pint I bought. The gumbo was barely at room temperature. Yes, the driver had a heat bag. The potato salad looks awful. The gumbo had kind of a sweet taste to it. It is almost as if they spilled gumbo file in it. But it could not be gumbo file because this gumbo was runny. When I called about my rice the lady got rude and obnoxious. I told her that, with her attitude I would not come back. She told me they did not need my business. So I am making SURE I write reviews all over the place about this place. They should not be allowed to even sell their potato salad.

Both the shrimp and oysters tasted like they were fried in old grease. Like I said I could not eat them, so $40 down the drain. The guy at the counter was very nice, so 2 stars.
