came to lunch on Sunday. I came right after the opening and it wasn't too busy, but quickly filled. everything was clean and tastefully decorated. I had the crooked coffin with kissing. I had dessert the peach cup. everything was delicious and perfectly refined. a stall in the woman's room was so small, my knee touched the door. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mr. Ed's Oyster Fish House, Metairie:
We originally planned to dine at a restaurant in Carrollton but the wait was too long, so we ended up at a place in Metairie instead. The atmosphere here was dull and uninviting. However, our server was fantastic. We ordered the charred oysters, which were just okay, not the best we've had. Eating was really good, not a waiter for 15 minutes. but when he showed up, he was good. baked fish and garnel really good
Very great place to get homemade fresh meals! One of the best places for oysters in the area! Santana was my waitress and she was the best! She is very informative and knowledgeable about what she is selling! I will be back to see Santana and have some delicious oysters again soon!!
Service and voices of God were excellent. Portions were very good, and price was acceptable. Great ambiance, a bit noisy at times, but all around a very good dining experience.
Came on a Friday night and even though we had to wait 45 minutes it was worth it! We sat at the bar and had a few drinks while we waited. We had the Charbroiled oysters and the Southwestern Oysters and they were to die for! Better than we have had anywhere else in the city. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Absolutely recommend this place if you are in the mood for some good seafood.
