Pacino's Italian - Mesa

Great food and service! Love when there's live music as well. We've celebrated special occasions from birthdays to Mother's Day and never been disappointed.

We are greeted with a very friendly waitress that was genuinely nice. Made us feel very comfortable when making decisions as far as what to order. She knew the menu very well and the food was excellent. If you're hungry for Italian food, this is the place to go. I would highly recommend it and would eat here again!Food: 5/5

Though it's been a couple of years since we went here, I wasn't impressed with the food then. I took a chance. The clams and/or the white sauce had turned. It was supposed to be a white wine butter garlic sauce, that didn't taste like any one of the ingredients. Instead, it was sort of a gelatinous lemon tanted flavored clear looking sauce. The pasta texture was the only reason I ate some of it, and I was very hungry. The service was fine, the woman pleasant and kind. Their pizza looks fine and the brussel sprouts were good. Only three stars for not having fresher food ie white sauce and/or clams and again heading to the bathroom with residual bubble gut. Stick with the pizza or plan pasta. I don't care for the actor much so the motif isn't an attraction but do like the bar set up, outside seating and TVs.

Second visit, first-time with family for twins' birthday. Delicious dishes and appetizers; special birthday canolis, too. It was really nice to hear and converse with family without blaring music interfering. Our servers were respectful and attentive. Kudos to them and their manager!Food: 5/5
