This quaint hotel and restaurant is a beautiful throw back to a much more simple time. The building and antiques are great, the little bar is homey and there is a little golf course near by. View all feedback.

We sat down and it took several minutes for anyone to come into the restaurant to give us menus. It was a long time before she returned to take our order. When she finally appeared with our order we had to ask for more coffee. Never checked on how things were and totally disappeared again. We sat waiting for 20 to 30 minutes to get our bill. Waitress was nice enough just not around. Food was okay.
We stayed in Merritt during our West Canada Trip and came to Quilchena Hotel to have Dinner. It was really the best we had on our trip! The prawns were delicious, the desserts were amazing, but the steak and the ribs are the very best! We sat in the Saloon, not in the restaurant, you can have the same menu there. The service was very nice and fast. We recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back!
If you get a chance to visit this unique restored 100+ yr old hotel, be sure to experience the fine dining. Exquisite meals prepared by a wonderful chef at very reasonable prices. The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes, as well as steaks grilled to perfection. The dining room, lobby and saloon have been beautifully restored. I would recommend calling ahead, simply because the dining room is sometimes booked for special occasions.
Very good food at reasonable prices and cool nostalgic venue to look around in. It's a short bit scenic drive ten minutes out of Merritt.
A beautiful spring drive to an old standby. Sunday brunch consists of 6 heated stations with the usual breakfast fare as well as a few Asian dishes. However the cold section is what stands out. A lovely selection of baked goods, local meats, a couple of salads and plenty of fresh fruit. Nicely presented. Friendly staff.
