This was the first fast food restaurant we both enjoyed together, and it did not disappoint! The service was quick and fantastic, and the burgers were delicious. We definitely plan to return. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're expecting fresh food. It feels like they might be sourcing their ingredients straight from the garden. The jalapeños seemed to be fresh from the soil, but the oil wasn't heated properly, which left the food undercooked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
After a four-hour drive with two small children, we thought stopping at Sonic would be a great idea. The food arrived hot, and the drinks were cold, which was definitely a plus. Unfortunately, cleanliness was lacking. We ended up cleaning our own table and benches, and if it weren't for the air conditioning, we would have been overwhelmed by the smell of the grease-stained walls. It was strange that there were no clean tables available, especially since the lobby was empty. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the restrooms were also in poor condition. The beef dispenser was broken and coming out of the wall. On a positive note, there was toilet paper and paper towels. If they have a dining area for customers, they really need to step up their game. Honestly, we would have preferred to eat in our car and use a rest stop restroom instead.
My Sonic blast lid wasn’t secured properly and it was overfilled (thanks for that, Sonic employees). When I tried to pick it up, the lid came off and the treat exploded all over my car. I really love Sonic, but I prefer my ice cream in the cup, not all over my car!
