This restaurants staff knows what they are doing. They are quick, friendly, and attentative even when the place is packed and there are pick-up orders piling up and the phone is non-stop. Great staff, great food, well worth the trip!Vegetarian options: Plenty of meat free choices!Dietary restrictions: They were very attentative to my friends peanut allergy! View all feedback.
What Perfecto Reyes doesn't like about Uncle:
UPDATE:I dined in this time. The service is good, the staff are nice. The place is clean. However, food is awful. I ordered pork buns, JIRO ramen, and DUCK Ramen. The JIRO RAMEN is way too oily and tasteless. There is heat on the broth but no spice. The noodles looks and feels like instant noodles. The noodle and bean sprout ratio is way off. Too much bean sprout than the noodles. The pork bun is good but the pork is... View all feedback.
I lived in Japan for five years, so it’s hard to win me over with westernised Japanese food. The pork belly in the jiro ramen was tasty and tender, but the broth, which was described as “rich”, did not live up to its name. In Japan, when you order ramen in a rich broth (kotteri ramen), it’s a savoury, deeply umami bone broth that’s been simmering for hours. Uncle’s “rich” broth is just oily and fatty without much depth of flavour. We could really visualise the thick layer of oil sitting on top when we got a to-go container. What was impressive, however, was the Brussels sprouts salad, which boasted complex flavours and textures. That was the star for me at this ramen restaurant—a salad. It was really busy, even on a weeknight, so they clearly know how to cater to their customers’ tastes. If you are hoping for authentic ramen, skip this place. Service was friendly.Someone else’s review recommended visiting the toilets. I concur. It’s got very pretty decorations.
Great location. Had the veggie ramen with soft shell crab buns and tofu for starters. Recommend the spice bomb if you like your dishes hot. Fantastic overall.

Great atmosphere, kindly greeted at the door. The hostess was very nice and set us up with a table with a short wait. The cocktails were amazing and the food was even better. Great flavor in the duck ramen and great spice and flavor in the dan dan noodles. Highly recommend to anyone that loves Great noodles!
Uncle is not only our favorite ramen restaurant in Denver, but one of our favorite restaurants here overall! The drinks are all great, for food our faves are the cold sesame noodles, spicy chicken ramen, and eggplant buns. Service is always on point, with special props to Matt for going above and beyond!
