Great latte! Nice little coffee shop to work, but they were testing the fire alarm at 10:00 for a while and it was very loud and annoying that I had to leave earlier than anticipated. Would have been nice to test the fire alarm in the afternoon? Also unfortunate that they did not have food. View all feedback.
What J doesn't like about Metropolis Coffee:
This place has been my go to since I moved to the neighborhood about 1 year ago. The reason for the suboptimal review is, as of late, the coffee (specifically the hot latte) has been very inconsistent. One day they coffee can be hot to the touch and overall very good, but then another day it could be lukewarm and disappointing, and I 'm talking immediately after pick up from counter. The staff is nice and the more complex drinks are pretty good, but $4 for a medium coffee... Definitely not worth it
Finally checked out@metropolisdenver this morning, trying their cold brew and a croissant! Cute shop that's a perfect pit stop while in LoHi.

Warm and cozy. I use to go to the one in Golden Triangle close to my home and decided to go in my bicycle to this location. I love it!
It's a nice little coffee shop not busy at all so a good place to sit and do work or like I did meet with a friend to catch up.
