Food had good flavors, really good food. I got the lamb shank and fattoush salad really enjoyed it. I understand they make everything from scratch, including the delicious hummus, which I appreciate. View all feedback.
They are closed for the summer. Need to update their hours on Google.
We’re a family who was visiting town for a concert, and the night before went to a popular, highly rated diner that we found very mid. We walked into Golden Falafel after the lunch rush with measured expectations. It was clear that this restaurant was a beloved neighborhood spot because every table had remnants of devoured meals. The very friendly host cleared off a table for my family to sit and look over the menu. Super helpful service and delightfully plated dishes. The falafel was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife’s grilled lamb had a great flavor to it, but I really loved the gyro plate that I ordered. It was my son’s first time trying gyro meat, and he loved it too. The pickled plate was huge, and my son demolished the olives. In fact, all the plates were large portions. I left the meal stuffed and satisfied. If we’re back in the area, we’d definitely come back.
I wont pretend to be an expert in Mediterranean food, but this was certainly the best I've had in Denver. Everything was just so flavorful and it doesn't seem like you can go wrong with anything on the menu
I was raised in Dearborn Michigan eating New Yasmeen Bakery and other very authentic Arabic food, so I am incredibly hard to please. This place definitely has the authenticity going for it. Family owned, very kind man running the place. The food was also very tasty. So these reasons I gave an overall 5 stars. I would recommend this place to anybody. My only gripe was with the Tabouleh Salad... For me, I was hoping for more greens. It was mostly Bulgar Wheat with little bits of parsley scattered in there. When I'm used to there being Bulgar Wheat scattered in mostly Parsley and mint leaves haha. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich which had Tahtziki and Tahini sauces which kept the sandwich from being too dry. I AM more used to there being garlic toum instead and pickled radishes inside for a bit more of an acidic bite. So I missed those factors. However, of the arabic food available in Denver, this place is definitely one of the best I've had so far Thank you!
Highly recommend the vegetarian combo and the mushroom skewers. This is a criminally underrated place
