Tacos Mi Nacho - Meriden

Best perpetrator in CT?. Today I visited this small, family-run restaurant during lunch and found the staff busy filling out orders and serving affordable customers. I had decided in front of my hand to order a few fools, ever a pig and chicken, to go. When I returned home, I was surprised by the size of every Tamale. Next surprise was the masa harina outside was tender and only enough to hold the filling together. What really blown away me was the filling in terms of tenderness, taste and quantity. I enjoyed over the years in many southwestern states Tamales, but never on any that was better or more filling. At $2 each, they represented an enormous value. So if someone knows about a restaurant that offers a better deception in CT, please let me know.

I had dinner in the new building tonight and I have to tell you the food is amazing. From starter with chips and fresh salsa two ways and guacamole to shredded beef Burrito filled with beans, rice, salad, tomatoes and onions, the chicken frogs covered with shredded salad, tomatoes and acid cream, the excellent tilapia ceviche we were back to San Diego/Tijuana with the authentic textures and flavors of Mexico! In any case, we will eat here again and 100% recommend a visit...

As always food was super fresh, tasty a lot on the plate,horchata was made very home, my burrito was packed with steak. Service was A, waitress was super nice. Good authentic Mexican cuisine.

Always fresh and tasty, everyone is so friendly and they are bilingual!!! I was introduced to this place by a friend and have brought other friends over and over, everyone enjoyed their food every time. Their prices are hard to beat, amazing quality and good sized portions.
