El Jibarito Take Out - Meriden

Ignore the chain fast food on East Main. Try yet another of Meriden's little gems of a family take-out restaurant. I just did. Great empanadas! Really friendly staff.

Best restaurant in CT that had authentic, tasty, and delicious Puerto Rican cuisine. I tried this food for the first time in my entire life a year ago and absolutely fell in love with it. You will rarely find food as good as this. Their Pastellitos are amazing, 10/10 world class, never will buy from anywhere else. Anyone who says they have better Pastellitos, I challenge you, and I bet you you can’t compete.

I'm here for lunch. is a small place, not really place to eat, definitiw only an out. I wasn't woven by the food. I have the beef with white rice. they had some pictures for some interesting sandwiches so that I might go back and try one of them and update them this review based on.

Awesome and alot of food delicius and the delivery guy was sooo nice

Very friendly and family like, quality of the food was great, definitely worth the experience! 10/10 would recommend.
