My husband and I dine here regularly, and the food is consistently excellent. There are never any disappointments, no matter what we order! The drinks are always good, with a great selection that caters to everyone. Plus, it's always affordable. The lamb special tonight was fantastic, and the banoffee pie, as always, was delicious. I highly recommend this place! View all feedback.
Exceptional! essential portions of great all homemade food! this place, very rare, produces roast beef as rare as I love it. the king prawn Provencale were delicious. we both had the beef that each roast presented to our favorite cooking art. each element was perfect in the cooking art and presentation. dessert, while almost full was absolutely necessary! massive of too many decisions I love, but decided for the eton chaos, with eton chaos eis and a house made coulis. each element is made clear to home to an extraordinary quality. personal attention and undisturbed well worth the visit. recommend the book. ps toilets clean and well presented also
Very good Sunday roast. Lots of meat perfectly cooked with copious vegetables. Worth the money.
Fairly modern pub. Really friendly and attentive staff. Great food too
First time here. Good ale from a local brewery and a proper ham cheese sandwich in crusty bread for lunch served by friendly staff. I'll be back.
Went here for a pint with friends following the refurb. What a pleasant surprise. Whilst it still lacks the charm and character of some of the surrounding competition it has been transformed into a comfortable, welcoming pub. Even better than that, a range of cask ales to get me back more than one. TT landlord, Betty Stoges and many others, fantastic. The food smelt good as well and once I eat there it may end up as a 5 star review.......well done.
