What User doesn't like about Red Lobster:
I have made reservations for rations and I was told I would have waited 60 minutes. it was 1and1/2 waiting. we were sitting in the bar area. I wanted a peaceful meal. they asked to be moved into the escort. told would have to rewrite in the line. great place for birthday drinks. but poor to eat. View all feedback.
Absolutely fantastic service!! Our server was amazing, I wish I could remember her name. She suggested a Bahama mom that is one of my favorite drinks, I suggest if you like the taste of Black Rum. We met the manager when she touched tables and welcomed everyone individually. That was really nice to see. As a former red lobster employee, I could not have been happier with our service. It is nice to see the standard that is held after all this time, and we just stopped on a whine on the way back from a track day. It was great. Will be back.
Overall my visit was good and asked. It was great that it wasn't full. We went on a Sunday at 4:30. The guy in the front who greets people and takes them up needs a new profession A.S.A.P! He didn't greet me ALL when I came in. I was the only person in the waiting room. He took the menus and was as follows. I said thank you so much. No real label, whatever! Our server Matt was great! He was very polite and neated us well! Yes, the portions have become smaller while the prices have risen... as many reviews mentioned. My lobster was overcooked. The Brussels were delicious, and the bacon Mac n cheese was good, but it was super dry. The scallops were cooked for perfection!! Everything else was as expected. We ordered a lot of food worth over $200 dollars... just let you say that I believed Red Lobster. I'll be back to this place.
We went on Saturday at noon for a buy 1 get 1 appreciation day and for the first time in many years I was impressed. Admittedly it was because of our bartender/server who was superb in her humor and ability to problem solve. We had a $35 Seafood feast and though I usually dislike deep fried shrimp, those were not over breaded and very tasty. Fried lobster over noodles was also quite good. (Lightly breaded lobster to me is better than the other-another anomally. Side note: warmer seas have made lobster very prevalent therefore prices should have fallen but somehow have not, they are being kept artificially high. What can I say about the biscuits? My take home was stuffed flounder which would have been better eaten warm but that was on me. I think red lobster may have finally taken a turn toward the positive.
We had not been to Red lobster in several years. We both got the Walt's shrimp dinners and really enjoyed them. Service was very good as well, and the cheddar biscuits were as tasty as ever. I think we need to add Red Lobster back into our dining rotation.
