We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with our dancing group at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive, and the Christmas decorations and atmosphere were very charming. The restaurant was clean and tidy. We would definitely go back again. View all feedback.

However, the pub is not ideal for having a quiet conversation as it is quite noisy and echoey. Unless you are seated in a quieter area, it can be difficult to hear what others are saying. I was also surprised when I ordered a small Merlot and a medium Pinot Grigio and was charged £12.10 for the two drinks. Our stay in Chilcompton has been marvellous, we had dinner here tonight, and we ordered 2 different starters, 2 different mains and a side. Not a single thing disappointed us, the food was just delicious, and the service was above and beyond, what an amazing place. You made us feel so welcome, my birthday has been amazing thank you so much.
Great pub. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Food was some of the best we've had in a long time. Excellent!
Baguette sandwiches are delicious with real fresh bread! Nice garden for a sunny lunch, and very dog friendly!
Great food and friendly staff. If going for food would advise booking a table in advance as can get quite busy especially on weekends.
