This place was packed. We stopped for a light, sweet breakfast before exploring Memphis. You could tell the locals went there. Only complaint was a young man working the counter was short with us and didn't seem to care or want to help. I'm assuming he had to step out of the kitchen to help the front as it was busy. Old fashioned donut was #1 best of 6. Caramel was #2. Then chocolate/chocolate with sprinkles, red vel... View all feedback.
What Stoney M doesn't like about Midtown Donuts:
Diversify front end. Why are your people of color in the back cooking. I understand and don't care about political affiliation, but I have seen this reflection several times I came there. Good product. Bad outcome. View all feedback.

There’s just no resisting the charm of donuts. The taste, the shape, the toppings, the fillings—they are so irresistible! The possible forms and flavors are innumerable. Plus, they all look so good! – Unknown. This quote sums of Gibson’s Donuts perfectly. You know a place is popular when customers are constantly pulling up and leaving within minutes with boxes of sugary goodness. With a wide variety of donuts and various donut related pastries there wasn’t a bad donut in the group. They were all still warm and fresh which made the difference. Their apple fritter was warm and had a chunks of apple that just made it so perfect for a morning drive home. For a different twist there was the cherry limeade donut, a favorite of my wife’s, making you think of those summers drinking a cherry limeade on a hot day. If you like or love donuts go to Gibson’s.
When they found out we were visitors, they gave us each a free, glazed doughnut that was amazing. And then our bill ended up only being seven dollars for the most amazing six donuts I’ve ever had. I don’t know how it was so cheap, but this place is great.
I love this donut shop. Local businesses that care about their community are the cornerstones of making cities safe and amazing places to live. Midtown Donuts checks all the boxes. The food selection is fantastic, service is friendly and fast, and supporting these kinds of businesses is how we make Memphis a wonderful city to live in. Thank you for being awesome. Kudos to Midtown Donuts!!!
This is the closest locally owned donut?shop near my neighborhood. The owners are very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile to put a smile on your face. There use to only be 1 locally owned donut?shop, in my opinion, worth going to in Memphis but MIDTOWN DONUTS is a great place to grab a dozen and some holes !!
