The place is dirty, full of flies, the parking lot looks like a dump, the food is horrible, they lie when they say it's BBQ, everything is fried and almost burnt. We came to this place because of the recommendations we saw on the map, but in reality it has nothing to do with what they say; but the guy who serves is very kind. View all feedback.
We stopped through Memphis on our way back home, and we wanted to try the famous Memphis BBQ. We came to the right place! My husband and I split the 'Shack Attack '. The best ribs I 've ever eaten, hands down. Fell off the bone as soon as we picked it up; no knife or fork needed. The wet BBQ sauce was so flavorful. The brisket and pork and chicken were great as well. The beans had amazing flavor as well; literally everything was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS. Service was kind, down to earth, and great as well! 1000/10 recommend!!!!
I've seen this place many times from shopping at LOWES and decided to pickup some lunch today. SOOOOOO glad I did, IT WAS MOUTH WATERING AMAZING!!!! I ordered the BBQ beef brisket sandwich and it was the BEST I've ever had! The brisket was so tender, perfectly seasoned and juicy. I will definitely be back many more times!!!
AMAZING food. Will definitely make the 35 minute drive to return! Every sandwich was not disappointing. Everyone's favorite hands down though was the one with burnt ends in it... don't recall the name... But everyone was super jelly of wife's sandwich!
Generous portions and delicious food! Excellent service and homey atmosphere. We tried the pulled pork sandwich, BBQ quesadilla, fish taco. All were very good!
Visited this place on our way back to South Texas from New Jersey. I looked up on Google for a good barbecue place with high reviews and I ended up at this place. Is a small place with limited sitting indide but has some outside sitting. The guy at the counter took his time to explain and recommend what to order. Man those ribs were so delicious and soft..the flavor was amazing. We also order a burger and a hot dog, both were full of flavor. The place had a security guard that was also very polite and makes the place feel safe. Over all this place was amazing and also full even though it was close to closing time on a Friday night. Thanks Elwoods for a great experience!
