Passing through Memphis, I had a chance to visit Beale Street. I had lunch at the iconic B. B. King's Blues Club. There isn't a band during the day, but you can almost hear the blues band playing when you walk in and look around. Known for their BBQ Ribs, but I ordered the Blackened Catfish and Shrimp Creole. What Melinda Bensman doesn't like about B.b. King's Blues Club:
Great Vibe Even on a Monday night Band was fantastic. Loud, Fun, tons of energy. People dancing every where at 8 pm. Decent food. Ribs were good not great. Shrimp and grits good. Nachos too much. Service is friendly but understaffed. $10 cover but best music stop in Memphis. View all feedback.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit, evenif you are passing only through Memphis. Parking is easy, in the parking garage behind it.
The wife and I celebrated an anniversary on Beale street and stopped in at BB Kings blues cafe! Incredible live music! The wife had two signature ?Lucille? cocktails I had the most incredible pulled pork sandwich while the wife had fall off the bone ribs, we tried the gumbo full of meat with just enough heat! House special bread pudding to finish! Special shout to our GREAT server Panda who made a great visit even better! Highly recommended if you get the chance stop in youwon?t be sorry!
Memphis Jones, the live band, was great. The food was yummy and the drinks were tasty. We were there around 5:00 on a Monday afternoon in March, no wait to get in. Two of us were going to get the ribs but they were out so we went with Chicken and Waffle and Meatloaf. The 14 year olds had wings and the Fried Platter. The chicken and waffle was really good. Meatloaf was tasty. The wings were meaty and perfectly cooked. The catfish was really good coming from a 14 yearwho says she doesn?t like fish. When you go early enough it is a great spot to include the teens in live music and a bit of music history.
Service was the best out of everywhere we went. The live music was wonderful to listen to. Make sure you get there before 8 because there is a cover charge. All the food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were happy and full. Also if you have food allergies you can be confident ordering here. They do take care to use separate fryers and use all means to prevent cross contamination. Cook even came out to say hi and assist with our huge order
