Theo's Fish Bar - Melbourne

I went in for a simple plain hamburger and it was delicious! The owner who served me was delightful and accommodating . A very pleasant experience

We enjoyed our delicious gluten free fish and chips for our family dinner. The piece of fish was huge. The dim sims were amazing. It was also great value and really friendly service.

We usually use Uber Eats to have lunch from Theo’s. The last couple of times it has been good but the batter has been a little undercooked. I decided to drive to the shop to order take away. The Uber Eats price for a calamari pack is $20.00. When I ordered in store, it was $25.00. When I questioned it, I was told that the Uber Eats price hadn’t been updated. No offer of a price match.

I’ve walked past Theo’s Fish Chip Bar umpteen times when I visit Ivanhoe to see the dentist. It’s in the Upper Heidelberg strip of shops and cafes. Between its bright cheerfully painted turqoise walls, Greek seaside village decor and overall positive vibe when I look inside, I’ve wanted to try it for ages; cravings for Japanese at Toyama have always gotten the better of me. Today, I tried Theo’s for lunch and as much as I WANT to give it more stars the cost and some other factors makes it impossible to justify a 5 star rating. Great selection of choices is certainly up market compared to your standard fish chip shop , but well worth it.. Quality is great 7 the service is fast well organised.. As you would expect a little more cost than your standard shop but worth giving it a go..
