Just had a memorable dinner here for my birthday. The ambience is so cosy and felt like I was transported to Paris for a couple of hours. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Even the truffle butter which accompanied the bread was outstanding. Service is friendly and efficient and we will be making Mon Ami our go to on special occasions. Thanks for a lovely experience. Hadn’t been here for some years and now i know why. On the positive, the aesthetic is a delightful French style bistro with wood paneling and black and white tiled floor. Front of house is the chefs partner and she is friendly and courteous. Ok selection of wines by the glass and there is a wine wall from which you can choose a bottle if you wish. What a fantastic experience. we want to come a long time ago, and mon ami has not disappointed for our jubilee dinner! beautiful ambiente, tasty eating and excellent service. in particular, the foie gras was decomposable, and their specificity was different from any other we ever had. an absolute pleasure. come back! This is a really sweet intimate restaurant that was about 15 people with a man and woman team who were both welcoming and friendly. the twice boiled souffle was delicious as the tartaric acid. the bone with cirches was and more absolute standout and can not be recommended enough, amazing, but if I need picky the escape breast fat was not made what is my preference. also the brulee was a winner and the small selection of cheese with the sweet wines fantastic. I love a restaurant like this still exists. we will go back.
We are in this absolutely beautiful restaurant since its first opening in 2003. each eating here is the best class, along with the friendly service and cozy ambiente. it is a tiny piece of wonderfulness. it is paris in fitzroy; just so beautiful and eating is so delicious.
A truly delightful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unpretentious in every way, setting, menu and service. Our favourite for special occasions.
Lovely, intimate and cosy with loads of ambiance. Food was totally delicious. Perfect tartare, bread to die for, creme brûlée superb.
