Merchants of Port - Melbourne

Third times a charm. I and my work colleagues have very much enjoyed our group lunches here. Gluten free burgers, Wagyu beef no less, are extremely tasty and filling. Their gourmet coffee flavours seem to be gaining popularity as my last lunch they'd sold out before lunch! Highly recommended.

This Port Melbourne restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It may not be a fancy 5-star restaurant with artful plating, but it excels as a fantastic suburban cafe. The staff is extremely friendly, the coffee is top-notch, and the food is satisfying without breaking the bank. Plus, the free street parking is a rare find in Melbourne. Stay tuned for extended hours, new menu items, a fresh perspective, and an exciting selection of wines and beers.

The staff at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is consistently amazing (large and hearty portions!). Located in an industrial area, it has easy parking and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The coffee is on par with other specialty coffee places. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

During our time in Port Melbourne, we stumbled upon Merchants of Port and we are so happy that we did. Everything was fantastic - the atmosphere, the food, the staff, and the prices. Despite not being familiar with Melbourne, I had never visited this location until last year. However, I can confidently say that the new owners have done an excellent job. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return the next time we are in Melbourne.

This cafe is no longer open. Disappointing considering I had only checked the website 2 weeks ago and there was no sign of it closing soon.
