What a fabulous dinner at this little restaurant. Fantastic Asian fusion, every dish was faultless. The Korean beef cheeks, calamari and duck spring rolls are amongst the best dishes we have experienced in the Footscray area, had and shoulders above anything else in the area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Luxsmith:
The food is just ok as there is some really good dishes and others that need worm. First time we came for nibbles and drinks we really enjoy it however when we came for a dinner is wasn't as good. However the service and the efficiency was good View all feedback.
We made a jubilee dinner. that was great. but this is not all the interior, with damped lighting and service were impeccable. the spicy spring rolls are the most delicious spring rolls I've ever tried. the soft bowl crab bao. is a bit difficult that it is worth. it has indoor and outdoor kitchen. very recommended.
There is no doubt that something must be quite extraordinary to praise it as such! even that is casual Asian fusion eating in seddon, which I like to testify measures on all because of very favorable against the...bigger and better known Asian fusion restaurants of the melbourne cbd. really loved that look and the feeling of luxsmith when we entered the door. After we read some really good reviews, we were looking for a chance for a first visit, but this damn we locked up the last 9 months. but on the last Friday evening (12th feb) everything fell in place, and like most other critics, I can only rave over the entire package as one of the most exciting sound in a long time. in a casual dining room in the village (with its cool and gorgeous wine bar right next door), the mood and fit seem exactly right, atmosphere great, personal and service brilliant and we loved everything we tried from the menu. starting from the prawn har gow knödel, roti and the most tasteful cocos rice bar no on this planet, we followed that with chicken satays, cauliflower pekora, soft shell crab and stir fried asian greens. while we were stuck to wein, there is a good selection of cocktails, beer, apfelwein, spirituosen and sake that are thrown in for a good measure. luxsmith becomes a popular place for us in the future.
Hello, people. would not publish this review if I really felt angry. Here's a sweat. eating is fake. it is neither fresh nor authentic. for example, southern Indian fish curry was literally 2 tiny pieces of some white fish suggesting frozen...Ba) swim in dilute cocos milk with sedative swim up. tasteless and disgusting. our brokkoli came with ample stretches of someone's hair from the kitchen. after that we could not eat the shlupf called curry anyway. they took the brokkoli from the bill. that's a big thing, panicking about how nervous I felt. wein after glazing all $12, $15 range? perfectly pretense and brings shame on what so many in melbourne do well. please close. the sooner the better. the personal was attentive and tried. we have booked beautiful mishras for our next dinner. hard work and authentic.
Start their evening next door in the wine bar each day have a cocktail happy hour between 4-6pm. a large wine selection also available. then they go to luxsmith for a mouth irrigation dinner! we started with the duck feeder rolls, skalopps and soft...sheals crook before we on sticky lamb ribs, steamed rice and house made roti. highly recommended. so happy to have this cozy place near home.
I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with a few friends. The food was excellent, especially the soft shell crab bao (recommended by our waiter), duck curry, and roti. The service was great and we even had a drink at their cozy bar next door afterwards! We will definitely be returning.
