Comfortingly down at heel bistro on the busy Heidelberg Rd/Station St corner. Meals are large and substantial and fairly tasty while never hitting the upper heights. My chicken something or other with chorizo was nice. Id call it comfort food. Finally, a pat on the back for our waitress tonight too. I am always delighted to visit this restaurant for their delicious steak and chips. I missed coming here during the lockdowns, but now that everything is reopening and coming back to life, it has become a beloved part of the community's social scene. I am very pleased with the service, the selection of beers, and I am thrilled to be back.

I went here with a good friend for a quiet meal and drinks on a Wednesday night. The dining area adjacent to the bar is spacious and very pleasant. The food was excellent the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. There was only one other couple in for the night. We will definitely go back again.

A large group of work colleagues had lunch in the courtyard on a warm day, the venue is perfect for a cheap, casual and relaxed meal. The food options are extensive, a choice from three different menus!!! Service is friendly and timely (although they did manage to muck up our large order), but even the confusion over deep fried calamari versus salt and pepper calamari didn't end up being a huge drama! We had a lunch main course for $12, the accompanying glass of wine almost as much! This place is cheap and cheerful, don't expect anything close to fine dining! I'm happy to return again. Parking at the rear of the hotel, all good!
