Highlights include the celebrated satay mock chicken, complemented by a flavorful black bean sauce, and surprisingly delightful vegan prawn crackers. The friendly staff are not only knowledgeable about vegan options but also keen to accommodate specific dietary requests. Decorated in an endearing Chinese style, the atmosphere enhances the dining experience. While prices may lean towards the higher side, the generous portions and exceptional taste render every dish worth the splurge, making it a standout choice for vegan enthusiasts.
The best vegan food I had on the half island, and some of the best fake meat in melbourne! seriously delicious. very friendly staff also.
Absolutely loved this place! Had the vegetarian chicken satay and chilli, vegan fried rice and san choy bau. All was delicious. Loads of food. Great service, very knowledgeable about vegan options. We were even told the spring rolls may contain egg. Really glad we gave this place a chance!!
I enjoyed the satay mock chicken dish at this restaurant. However, I did not care for the mock beef in the black bean dish, although the sauce was delicious. Both dishes had an excess of stalks. The spring rolls were decent, and the vegan prawn crackers were surprisingly good and brought back memories from years ago. The owner was delightful.
The best vegan food I’ve had on the Peninsula, and some of the best fake meat in Melbourne! Seriously delicious. Lovely, friendly staff too.
A good range of vegan options, delicious flavours, cute chinese decor, friendly staff who know what vegan is and can veganise the menu. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-23
