We dropped in for after dinner drinks. There are lots of nice cocktails on the menu. I am looking forward to returning back for a meal soon as we found some really interesting dishes on their menu. View all feedback.
What Caesar Boehm doesn't like about Carringbush Dining Room:
Dropped into this hotel tonight for an end of the week unwind. 3 to 4 staff behind the bar, 3 old fellas sitting at the bar, and me standing at the bar waiting. Totally ignored. The staff introduced a newbie staff member to the old timers, but still totally ignored me, even though I was the only other person standing at this bar. Really disappointing. Eventually walked out and went to Stingo's just a short distance u... View all feedback.
I went in last night at about 8.30 pm. I was glad to find anything open on a Monday at all, and I just wanted more than something from the many pizza places. Although it was towards the end of the evening, the young guy...behind the bar was welcoming and hospitable. As a hospitality professional of 30 years I like wine and he got me a glass of chardy which was available by the btl on the list. The kitchen provided a great pork cutlet, and by the time I left, I think I was the only person in the pub. And I was still not hurried out! That's refreshingly professional. I've dined here in the bar a couple of times on previous trios to Oz. Same thing. Great meals. Helpful staff.
First time visiting this hotel. Had dinner with our dance group. The hotel still has private dining rooms which makes it a little more intimate. Good variety of dishes on the menu something to suit everyone. Didn't have to wait too long for our meals...but didn't feel rushed. I had Blue grenadier with a very tasty slaw and my partner had the salmon fillet. All of our group was very happy with their meals. Would definitely go back
Exceptional. atmosphere, interior, local atmosphere (supports local artists and musicians), super friendly relaxed staff, phenomenal bier selection. all around absolutely beautiful.
We have sunk here because of a drink, as my instincts in the late 1970s were called earlier than the friendly societies at that time. the place had a great transformation, but looks great, comfortable couchs open fire and. a nice dining room that we will eat next time. large selection of craftsmen behave and I enjoyed my white wine, friendly staff and loved the atmosphere.
We had not visited the carringbush hotel for several years, but it was recommended on the basis of its new look menu. very vegetarian. it has excellent eating, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. in this part of the inner graves, where parking is no...problem the dishes show fantasies and fresh and is inexpensive. only comment is that the wee are a little expensive for big wines. it was a good night.
