Angliss Restaurant - Melbourne

Sadly the experience the group I went with did not meet our expectations. The staff I know are in training, but the wait time between being seated at 12.30 to finally getting a menu was half an hour, then another half hour for our orders to be taken. A further 3/4 hr to get entrees. Then a further 3/4 hr to get the main course. Some of us had even longer to wait We had been advised that we would be able to finish by 2.30 and the eftpos machine brought to our tables. But we didn't get our desserts till 2.30. No efpos service, but we had to line up. The food was very nicely presented, but the octopus entree was much too tough. The fried fish was much too tough and sadly the dessert of mousse was so frozen that when I tried to cut into it, the piece went flying onto the floor. Are these trainees supervised? They would be lucky to get a decent job sorry to say

Had an absolute great dinner Tonite at WAC Restaurant Seafood night the best meals !! featuring beautifully sliced black lip abalone n salad for entree Crispy skin Barramundi n beautiful sauce for main n Chocolate parfait Dessert .. All cooked to perfection n taste flavorsome Awesome cocktail N Great service too Well done to all front of the house people and the chefs in training students

Foods are brilliantly cooked to perfection n the students did excellent job.. flavoursome foods n we really enjoy it n very affordable price. Highly recommended ..

Worth every minute. Help new hospitality entrants go through to career success. Excellent food with hyper attention to detail and great ambience.

Please understand the parameters. This is a training college. Some minor errors will be made. Forgiving this. Everyone, needs to have a start in the career. Here is a great example of trainers guiding the next generation of hospitality professionals. The food was as good as many restaurants I have dined in. I will be returning, as a guest to support the student and their learning.
