The service at this restaurant was fantastic. They are very quick at getting orders prepared and the presentation of the dishes is excellent. I especially enjoyed the rice and fried ice cream. The queso dip was good, but only lukewarm. I wasn't a fan of the ground beef in the chimichanga, but I should have explored other options. The food was satisfactory, but the drinks were mediocre. We were not pleased with the service, as the server kept coming to our table every 2 minutes to ask for the check and if we were finished eating, even though our drinks were still full. Fiesta Azul has top notch food! The steak was so flavorful, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The margaritas come in a variety of flavors and are well poured. The vibe was clean and chill for a weekday afternoon. The staff were all friendly and the manager was around checking on everyone. The staff were very considerate to ask about if all ingredients included in a particular meal were okay- they actually altered our table side guacamole to accommodate a food allergy. I’m thoroughly impressed. This is definitely a spot to come eat at if you haven’t tried it yet!
The place looks nice, the food delivery men look hard working and make the plates of food look nice upon delivery but our waitress was full of attitude when asking about the food. Place was packed on a Saturday around 6 PM. She brought our kids two chipped plates. When I asked her to replace the plate, she gave even more attitude and brought another broken plate. Bathrooms are nasty but the picture walls are nice. Food was okay, waitress forgot to bring our plantains and we had to remind her. I never got my water glass filled even when asked.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant at all times. Anything we try, we like it. The food sometimes takes a little long to come out, but it is worth the wait. The portion is big, we always have left over for next day. They will let you take your drink to go if you can't finish there.
