The food was delightful! The spacious atmosphere and friendly staff make this restaurant a must-visit in the heart of Melbourne. It's not a fast-casual spot; the culinary experience is meant to be savored. My ribeye was cooked to perfection—juicy and impressively large. The cream spinach might be the best I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ember Oak:
Overall, a fun and mostly delicious concept. The ribeye was cooked well and tasted wood fired. However, the Caesar and the bone marrow on the platter were disappointing. Particularly bad was the salad as the flavor was lousy and not like any other Caesar I’ve had. I don’t know what the flavor was oh well. Most disappointing was the service toward the end of dinner. She started off strong but petered out slowly. Our w... View all feedback.
Turkish below I was in Melbourne for a few days to meet some school mates from FIT. Went there with great expectations to spoil myself. They didn't have a table till 8 PM when I was trying to reserve. But when I went there the place was half empty. I had some oysters for starter, cesar salad and a ribeye. They were all good. Steak was already not very hot when served and cold by the time I was done. In such a place you want to sit comfortably and enjoy, but towords the end of my meal I was alone and the personel was waiting for me to leave. Their wine by the glass selection is very limited. I had to choose a full bottle for a good steak. Surprisingly they dont even have a proper cave. At least not that I could see. I was not very happy. Universite arkadaşlarımla buluşmak uzere şehirdeydim. Iyi kritikler okudum diye gittim ama memnun kalmadım. Belki hizlica pahalli bir et yemek icin gidilebilir. O da olacak sey degil. Listenizde varsa cikartin.
Words to describe the excellent food, drinks and service in ember oak are difficult to choose because there are so many. from exquisite dining room to the best steaks in brevard, e o is hands down the place we celebrate our special occasions and bring guests out of town. the selection of food and weeping is excellent. expect them to spend about $100/person on the high end (employment glasses of drink, not bottle,) and they will not be surprised by their bill. the service is excellent and we give the entire waiting staff a special scream. obviously everyone in the kitchen is just as impeccable. they will not be disappointed in the evening at e o!
The best steaks and presentation. the aktikabel board was delicious and leaves little space for dessert, but we did it with the key lime pie selection. darlene was very attentive and friendly and it made for a beautiful evening. we're coming back!
Celebrated my girlfriends 35th here last night and we enjoyed oysters Rockefeller, the sliders , champagne, red wine , and the special on Sunday which is prime rib. For dessert we indulged in their orange Mexican flan. The music , atmosphere, service, and food were amazing per usual. We really enjoy this restaurant and what they have built themselves up to be , especially durning the pandemic. The inside is now finished and GORGEOUS too so next time I will be making sure to take advantage of that. Highly recommend here for date night or just any occasion.

Particularly bad was the salad as the flavor was lousy and not like any other Caesar I’ve had. I don’t know what the flavor was oh well. Most disappointing was the service toward the end of dinner. She started off strong but petered out slowly. Our waitress sort of disappeared toward the end of dinner and we just sat there. This cost the restaurant us buying desert. It’s a high end steakhouse so service needs to be superb rather than this restaurant’s spotty service. Overall, I might consider going back, but for the price combined with the issues, it’s hard to justify.
