this is one of my favorite places on the world! I dream of their flaky cakes, which are like crêpes/pancakes, which are served flat, either with hearty or sweet linings. we love to sit in the funky beer garden that looks over the river. it's a great place to be forcibly loved by the children and that's right next to the ruins. to get there, you can also walk along the cycle path and then go up the stairs to the beer... When you go down the Rhine side on a dark october night of imiserswurth, you meet the good time caffe. the place is very welcoming, even though something crazy set up and with a small menu with German standard dishes. we were in a group of ten people and sat quickly and served drinks. we ordered our food and it came a short time later and was all solidly prepared and served, even though somewhat simple and without finer details. a nice place for a quiet eating in a nice atmosphere. on the Thursday evening we visited, a type of everything seemed to be done, from taking drinks and eating orders to serving the entire restaurant, but he did it very well without having to act nervously or overwhelmed. In view of the other traditional German offers in imiserswurth, I am not sure if I would come back, but on a summer evening, the proximity to the Rhine can be a strong selling argument.

Self-service for eating and white beer. bright beer is presented. the food must be ordered in the kitchen. they get a number and pick her up. immediate payment as usual in the beer garden;)
We ate on the Rhineland too. so not in the big restaurant. it was a small place. well decorated inside and outside. toilets are scary with huge statues looking down on them, and almost without light. they get a lot of food for the money they pay. the service is very good. waiter speak English. in any case a good restaurant for a drink or a lunch at a walk through imperial.
I had with my friend there the famous flame cake: 1 with tomaten and rucola and 1 with apples, cherry and cinnamon. beautiful selection of beer and a very beautiful beer garden near the Rhine. As mentioned in another review, the toilet has a war scene and a statue.
