From Scratch Italian Bistro

I can't believe how accommodating this dining establishment is!! We heals our Christmas party here. China took care of everything.... band, food and the most amazing deserts. I can't say enough about the food and service. It is certainly a hidden gem. It is easy on the pocketbook. China didn't have liquor brands that everyone liked.....we were ok with that, suddenly out of nowhere china produced everything everyone requested. She certainly went over and above for all of us! So appreciated! It is a hidden gem that I hope everyone finds.

I have been frequenting the Bistro for many years and I have to say it is one of the most relaxing eating experiences I've ever had.The owner is knowledgable about wine parings and food pallet.My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary here with delicious food, wine and company.The owner makes you feel like family and right at home. The meals are packed with flavour and the atmosphere is authentic Italian.The bistro isn't an over packed, wait an hour to get a seat type of restaurant like many other eateries in town. The service is wonderful and the owner aims to make your time there special.

My husband came across this little restaurant when he was searching for a business located in the area, What an awesome find! Great homemade food, fun and quirky decor, and fabulous owner. We had an absolutely wonderful lunch and plan to take our whole family there shortly.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for an evening meal to celebrate our Anniversary.As we were the only people there we were able to enjoy a delightful meal, sharing fresh homemade bread with oil and balsamic to dip the bread in, as well as a lovely plate of Italian cured meat, olives, cheese, and petite crackers.For our main I had the carbonara pasta and my wife had the lasagna. Both were delicious, large servings.The pasta itself was homemade and with the sauces was excellent.We each had a couple of glasses of wine and we shared a chocolate concoction that was delicious.The owner served and cooked, she has a pleasing personality and we enjoyed conversing with her throughout the evening.Found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality and preparation that was required.Will definitely be going back.

Poor service. Mediocre food. Would not go back and would not recommend. Decor was lousy. Overall not a good experience.
