Yoki used to be a favorite spot in Medford, but recent experiences have left diners feeling disappointed by the decrease in service quality. Despite some unique and delicious food options, inconsistent service and lackluster salads have left customers feeling underwhelmed. While the wait staff is friendly and the food is good overall, there are other places with similar quality at a similar price point. Despite the shortcomings, the restaurant still has some standout dishes like the salmon and tuna tartare. Good service can still be found, such as with server Sally at Zocalo, who provided excellent service and fresh, delicious food options. While some dishes may have missed the mark, Zocalo still offers a great dining experience with visually stunning and tasty options. Overall, Yoki and Zocalo have their strengths and weaknesses, but both could benefit from more consistent service and attention to detail.
