A delicious breafast in a light and airy venue in North Sydney. The freshly juiced apple juice smelt and tasted like Granny Smith apples, the fruit salad was plentiful, fresh and contained a very good variety of fruit. The soft poached eggs and scrambled eggs were excellent, the coffee was good too. We asked the music be turned down, this was done (only later did we realise we were sitting under the speakers!). What Emanuel Kihn doesn't like about Indulgent Sage:
I'm local to this place and have watched it just get worse n worse. I gave it one last go recently but it failed terribly... Atrocious customer service; poor food - chefs have no idea and waiter couldn't even offer an apology for keeping us waiting 90 minutes for food. We will never return :( View all feedback.
We choose this place for dinner because of it's location and the wide open front of the restaurant - good to enjoy the atmospehre of the area. The service was quick, friendly and polite - maybe because there weren't many guests in the restaurant. The food was plenty but average.

Love the location of this place along Blues Point Road... it has a lovely open-air feel, with big open windows. The new staff are also really nice. I went twice in two days. The first day, I stopped in to get my husband a coffee. The lady working the counter, who I assume was also the manager, had a really negative energy about her. Not only was she impatient and dismissive of me, but was also kind of rude to her staff. I waited for over ten minutes on a simple coffee. The next day, someone we were with wanted to stop in for lunch. We sat down and ordered some food, and again it took kind of a long time considering how empty the restaurant was. The service was friendly on that occasion; the new waitress was great. The food was pretty decent, as well. Not sure if I'd go back by choice, because the first visit was so bad. I don't really need that negative energy or to wait ten minutes on a simple takeaway coffee.
This morning I went up with my family to have breakfast and then enjoy the coffee at McMohan's point. Our first experience was excellent with sage and without a doubt we will visit again and try out the lunch menu. Very friendly and professional service, food and coffee came out in a timely manner and was a delicious meal to enjoy.
Just enjoyed the most delicious lamb shanks ever ! So tasty and meat just melted off the bone. Service was quick and friendly, and the glass of wine that came with meal was surprisingly good. We're in North Sydney one more night and seriously thinking of going back again tomorrow night!
