Another friend had her 80th birthday there a few months ago and also raved about it. After looking at the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor we had to...visit it. All the reviews were exactly our thoughts. Food amazing, staff wonderful and attentive but in a nice way and the restaurant was in such beautiful surroundings. It might be a little expensive as you need to have 2 or 3 courses but you get so much for this with beautifully made nibbles and sorbets between meals. It’s somewhere we’ll always go now for special occasions or just if we want to relax with wonderful food in beautiful McLaren Vale.

Well informed, non intrusive yet attentive wait staff 3) Menu choices cover...many, many pallets. If you cannot find a 'perfect ' choice I think you are being a little fussy 4) Food wine selections and quality very broad selections and happy to cater for 'special ' requests. The quality and presentation is something you will rarely see in any restaurant. Final words relax enjoy .

Beauti... read more Wow what a fabulous experience. Food was amazing and beautifully presented. From the minute we arrived till the end of our very long lunch was faultless. Beautiful taste sensations arrived with complimentary tasting plates before our starters and they were a sign of the good things to come! both the pork and the lime tart were amazing. The wait staff were attentive and friendly and the venue, set in amongst the vines on one side and orchard on the other were perfect for our celebration lunch. Can't wait for our next visit

While main meal size was not very big it was tasty and well presented. The menu offers a variety of food to suit all palates but it was the unexpected little tasting extras that were provided which included, Oysters, prawns, whipped Brie with carrot chips that made our day. The lime pie was the pick of the desserts with the best pastry I have had in a long long while.The wine was reasonably priced and easy probably too easy to drink.At completion of our meal we were provided with a netting bag and invited to fill it with fresh lines from the orchard.Most enjoyable will definitely go again
