Jalapeno's Mexican Grill - McKinney

I always say hole in the walls have the best eating, but not this place. 1st from shrimp in the bathroom, the small not the big, second I have the shrimp jalapeño very 1. meal on the menu. 1 the speck was not cooked, 2 if they say jalapeño, it's just a piece, a small piece if it should be all without saying I sent my order back. personal, if you don't go hispanish, we have attitude of what I suspect was the owner.

We received pitiful service and mediocre food. (obvious canned chicken, which the surly waitress assured us was freshly cooked The manager was indifferent to our complaint and the waitress couldn't be bothered to refill our drinks OR chip bowl once. — the manager did not even care enough to speak to us in person. The waitress vanished halfway through our meal and didn't even bother to give us our check. The cashier said the service was sub par because they were so busy —At 2 in the afternoon??? What a bunch of nonsense!! Avoid this place!! — We sure will. When, and if I receive a belated apology, I will remove this review.

This place was great. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but is so nice inside! It smelled great as soon as I walked in, and the food itself was delicious. Best rice and beans I've had from any local places. Chips and salsa were yummy, even the next day (we got our food to go). Nice Horchata, could be a better. The green enchilada and the mexi tacos were the meals we got, they were fantastic, highhhhhly recommended ?.If you're considering this place, you'll be glad you gave it a try! Enjoy

Absolutely the most amazing service you can ask for, super friendly staff, hands down awesome food. Been coming back to this establishment for 19 years now and counting! Wish I could add more stars.

Really friendly I sat at the bar. Very kind young man waited on me. Food and house Margarita ?was very good.
