Bistro 53 - Maynooth

Probably my last time here, for many years since I just finished. always loved to come here, the food was great and the staff was as beautiful as ever, they even remembered me, although there were two years about the pandemic and all. I still recommend to come here.

Everything was incredible here! eating was incredible and I really couldn't blame it. the waiters were amazing with the help of recommendations and an extensive know about the menu. We also have coffee that was absolutely beautiful! what the restaurant really does is the waiting staff, they were very knowledgeable, passionate and welcoming. would recommend 100% (if not clear)

Food was generally pretty great, but the surf turf had 2 prawns that tasted 30 minutes over-cooked. Totally inedible. Didn't make a fuss, brought it up with the waiter at the end of the meal just a note. He got totally defensive, basically blaming me for not telling him sooner. No apology, no gesture to atone, nothing. Just a waiter with several attitude issues throughout the night souring the experience. Combined with the fairly high prices, we won't be going back.
