What User doesn't like about Rifo's Cafe:
Place stinks of stale food. Decor and furnishings are crazy. Atmosphere is dull, dim, dark and menacing. Service is appalling and food is mediocre. Terrible value for money. A place to be avoided. View all feedback.
As a long-term coffee customer at rifos I am absolutelyley accused of yesterday's situations, as I was shouted by the person who makes my coffee before customers in the take-out window. that was because I didn't have my mask. but I was socially distancing while waiting for the coffee and kept my mask over my mouth and nase to get the coffee. I was shocked and annoyed because I didn't wear my mask right and was not even able to return any feed because the aggressive nature of the coffee. this is not the first time that I had been abused by coffee staff in rifos, the first time that I had not been paid, I had the payment to the person who took the order and went to do something else, then the person who paid the coffee asked me, and I told her I had given it to the other wait staff, she said to me in the ground that I was not lying because she had paid the everyone has a bad day so I went back, but after yesterday abuse before everyone and know there will be no compensation why bothered....extremely hurt and disappointed about the situation. the customer is no longer correct
They use a wood stove for the pizzas and we could even smell them when we got out of our garage on the street. they have not disappointed the best pizzas we have tried in perth. the bases are excellent. they are. with the beats. some pieces had for example only one or two small pieces salami or huh. the people say that this is the authentic Italian way away, but I don't think it. Italian love eating and living with passion, why would they jump on pizza toppings? really a pity, the pizzas could have been big instead of just good.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the foods that came in generous portions. the pizza was also beautiful.
First I avoid writing bad critikens, it is not nice, but today's experience has really justified a bad review. we often go to rifos and usually enjoy eating her, but something seems to have gone wrong at our last visit. today's visit sealed...it is for us. we ordered the mad moose (bacon and pancake) and the monte cristo (ricotta french toast.) we waited at 40 minutes for our food and even had to ask if our order was forgotten. when the place was busy, I could understand that, but there were no more than three people eating during our waiting. When our food arrived, it was best warm. The Mad-Mose looked like it had been thrown together in a hurry and swim in maple syrup, which exaggerated everything on the teller in a round. the Monte-Cristo was cold, didn't seem French toast, but in the round a ricottta toastia without element of French toast. the cinnamon was not sprinkled over the meal, but in the middle in a boiled and the entire dish swimming in maple syrup, which made the toastia soggy and dominated the meal. everyone is allowed a free day so when we let the waiting staff know that it tasted and cold was the answer was easy that it was freshly cooked. this actually made the situation worse, first when that was the case, why it was almost 40 minutes for our food and second please do not lie to me, our eating was cold. the waiting staff offered nothing to correct this terrible meal, so we paid and went. I'm sorry, it's for us, we're not going to visit again.
Visited last night, a group of 3. To put bluntly worst experience at a restaurant in 16 years of living in Perth. This venue was once the go to of Perth.... however to give context we dine out on average twice a week around...Perth) When ordering drinks, had to chase the waitress up as food delivery services appear to have become more of a focus than customers in a restaurant looking for a drink refill. It took 1 hour and 22 minutes for 2 meals to arrive, with the following meal arriving some 5 or so minutes after. Compared with other venues in Perth, the food was average at best, that said if it came out hot and not luke warm, bordering cold, it could be a slightly different story, possibly all the delivery orders pushed our meals to the back of the warmer. When questioned where our food was around the one hour mark, we did receive 6 slices of garlic bread on the house (that was actually hot). However with such terrible service, We all agreed never to return. If your considering going, would suggest getting a food delivery service to deliver from this restaurant, it will save you a lot of time. To give further insight we saw one delivery driver return at least 5 times whilst we waited for our meal to be served. One other thing that was quite noticeable was the size of the wine glasses, and the consistency of pours, for starters the wine glasses are considerably small for a restaurant and don’t represent value for money, the glasses had lip stick stains on them and looked dirty at best! With one glass 1/2 full while the other was 3/4 full. Overall felt there was no care for the customer, a distinct lack of pride in the workplace from staff was ever present, and waiting times that would make the blood of a patient person boil beyond belief, just a bad experience overall in the restaurant was had last night and do not intend on returning in the foreseeable future.
