Ecu de France Restaurant - Mauriac

Bright and airy, this lunch spot is a remarkable different spot compared to the rest of the chain restaurants near the Heartland area.

Came to dinner with a couple of friends we were very disappointed with the kitchen and service. demand for very stirring steaks that arrive too cooked, fatty cuisine disappointing desserts and fruit salads outdated to freshness and unsure taste. Salad of doubtful gésiers also, in short we advise this restaurant at all points of view.

Very good reception smiling terrace on the pleasant street veranda idem. good Provencal vegetable tartar and sausage not too bad. Good wine with pichet. 19€ can be a little expensive.

This is, without doubt, the best restaurant in Mauriac; although I must say there isn't a lot of choice! The lady who runs the place, literally does run around ensuring good service. The menu is extensive and includes some excellent regional dishes. I'd especially recommend...the pork escalope in apple and mushroom. The restaurant has recently been redecorated and is nicely done. The wine list caters for all tastes and is not too expensive. It pays to book in the evenings and at weekends as they are often full.

I don't know how many times I've been to this place, I just love it.
