What Avery Benzinger doesn't like about Jet's Pizza:
I was excited to see a 4.5 star rating and rave reviews about hot, fresh pizza. I did not get the same experience, unfortunately. Pizza arrived on time. However, it was cold and hard. Like the cheese wasn't even slightly melted. Isn't that why we love pizza? C'mon. Thanks for the jaw work out of gnawing on cold bread, I suppose? View all feedback.
I had a wonderful Detroit pepperoni pizza and Greek salad. The food was wonderful and the service was quick. The pizza was not greasy it was awesome.
Great food and pizza. Wonderful service as well. Its like walking into a NY pizzeria.
Since Chicago doesn't know how to share deep dish with the rest of the US, I'll be sticking with Detroit as best. Maybe this isn't the best Detroit deep dish but I've tried Sicilian pizzas and other deep dish pies all around the area and Jets is THE BEST OF ALL. There are other pizza spots with better pizza but Jets deep dish is king!
The absolute best pizza chain, no question about it. The crust is unlike anything you can get at this price point. They have a large (vegetarian) Greek pizza on sale for $15.99, and it is so good.
Easily some of the best Detroit-style pizza outside of the Motor City. Pro-tip: the crust is everything. Get the 8 corner.
