Great, cheap local Portuguese food in a no frills local restaurant, exactly what we were looking for.

Dined here Sunday night. Porto v sporting Lisbon on t.v. very local but food good .both had the sword fish enjoyed. Wine Very nice.

What a find! We were staying in Matosinhos for the night andwent out looking for a traditional Portuguese restaurant for our last meal in Portugal. This place did not disappoint in any way from the extremely helpful and attentive waiter to the offer of making anything for my daughters even if it was not on the menu. It was packed with locals but they quickly made up a table for the 6 of us. Once our food was chosen, unbelievably it was freshly cooked and on the table within around 10 minutes. From start to finish it was an excellent experience and we could not recommend this place more. My mother said it was the best meal she had eaten on the entire trip. Thank you, we will be back.

It was our first night out for dinner. We had no idea where to go so we walked down from our hotel looking for somewhere to eat. We walked past this place and decided to go in. The place was jammed with locals so we knew it had to be good. The menu is only in Portuguese but the server was very efficient in helping us and recommending a good meal. We were not disappointed and would highly recommend reading here. Thanks again!!

Nós éramos um grupo de 24 pessoas e a comida foi servido rapidamente e ao mesmo tempo. > O serviço é relativamente amigável e a comida era bastante boa especialmente o frango no rímel. É pena que várias das sobremesas não sejam caseiras.
